Let's talk speakers!

Here's something I recently blogged about for TEDxUCL:

The most important part of any TEDx event is its speakers: they are the glue that holds the event together. So I thought you’d all appreciate being kept up to date on how the search for speakers for TEDxUCL is progressing. I recently caught up with the Speakers Team to find out how they are doing.

The team is making excellent progress and is promising to put together a fantastic series of talks. This year’s TEDxUCL theme, Perspectives, gives the team the chance to pick from an incredibly wide variety of topics and disciplines. Speaking to the team’s coordinator Michael Klenk, it seems they have left no stone unturned! The bulk of their speakers will be made up of UCL staff, students and alumni, though they are not entirely limiting themselves to UCL – there is word of a non-UCL speaker, which I promise you will be very worth-while! But for the time being we cannot reveal who that will be, so stay tuned!
